Employment Readiness and Technology Development Program

Recruiting now! This program is an excellent opportunity to gain workplace skills and is offered at the Northern Production Centre in Nain, Nunatsiavut. Learn how to build our SmartBUOY ice monitoring sensor and participate in training courses to learn transferable skills that prepare you for future employment.

This program runs from July 2 – July 17, 2026  at $20 per hour (EI eligible hours).

• Open to all ages
• Hands-On Learning: Learn how to assemble the SmartBUOY ice monitoring sensor
• Training Certificates: Become First Aid certified
• Workplace Training: Gain employability skills by participating in workplace training such as courses in computer skills, resume building, and stress management
• Rate of Pay: $20/hour, EI Insurable hours
