Joshua is a MITACS Postdoctoral Fellow and graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland (PhD in Ocean and Naval Architectural Engineering). Over the last few years, he has been working on sea ice modelling in Norway and back home here in Newfoundland and Labrador. He is now validating our ice sensors and exploring their compatibility with Unnamed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones). Joshua has two young children and loves to read in a quiet place whenever he gets the chance!
