Knowledge Coordinator - Qikiqtarjuaq

As part of our Sikumik Qaujimajjuti project, he will facilitate community management committee meetings, and workshops with Elders, youth, and hunters to share their ice Inuit Qaujimajatqangit (IQ). He will also be trained in new digital skills for computer mapping and satellite interpretation. Michael was born in Frobisher Bay, N.W.T., now known as Iqaluit, Nunavut. He lives in Qikiqtarjuaq, the Iceberg capital of Nunavut. Michael is a proud father of 5 kids, 3 girls and 2 boys. He enjoys cooking for and spending time with his kids.
