Parnian is co-developing the Sikumik Qaujimajjuti project where she is instructing several of our team members on computer mapping, how to interpret satellite imagery to create ice travel safety maps for their communities. She is in the final stages of her second M.Sc. Degree in radar remote sensing of sea ice from the University of Victoria. Parnian has worked as a researcher, GIS analyst, and remote sensing expert over the past 5 years. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, landscape photography, and spending time with friends and family.
